People say to me all the time, “I would use coupons but they are never for products I actually buy.” As it turns out there are coupons for literally tons of products and they are not all for Hamburger Helper!
It takes a little more digging but you can find coupons for all those fabulous products that you actually use!
Here are a few of my favorite places to find coupons (other than the Sunday Newspaper):
1. Visit the Manufacturers website. Companies put coupons on their sites all the time rather than in the newspaper. This is for several reasons first, putting coupons into every newspaper can be expensive and second, if you actually visit the site in search of the coupon then you’re more likely to purchase the product.
2. Call the Manufacturer. I cannot stress this enough. If you want high value coupons-call! Tell them how much you love them and ask for coupons! Then ask when you can call back, many companies will let you call back for more coupons!
Call every single one of your favorite manufactures from vitamins to diapers! This is especially true if you buy organic!
3. Visit sites such as Coupons.com, Smartsource.com and Redplum.com. These three powerhouse coupon sites are ever changing and typically have several really good high value coupons. Print them when you see them though, they may not be there when you return.
4. Buy Online! Coupons are regional that means what one city gets, another may not. Just because you did not see a coupon for your favorite product does not mean one didn’t come out.
Visit Ebay.com and search for coupons in the search bar. You can type in something simple such as ‘grocery coupons’ or more specific such as ‘Huggies Coupons.’
You can also visit TheCouponClippers.com to purchase each coupon individually.
5. Recycle Bins!! People throw coupons in recycle bins all the time, reach in (notice I said reach not dive) and grab those coupons! In our area, recycle bins are located at area libraries and Walmart stores. I have even seen newspaper delivery workers throw in full inserts!
Using coupons and saving money does not mean you can’t buy your favorite products! Just spend a little extra time on the methods above and you’ll find the coupons you really need!
